Healing

For 12 Years I have been working as a Healer both in private practice, incorporating it into my work as a physiotherapist, and also in my work for a local cancer charity. In training through the UK’s largest Spiritual Healing organisation, The National Federation of Spiritual Healer’s, I abide by a strict code of conduct and am covered by their professional insurance. May I tell you more about Healing:

Spiritual Healing is a natural energy therapy that complements conventional medicine by treating the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Healing is the flow of healing energy through the healer to the patient, which re-energises and relaxes them to enable his or her own natural resources to deal with illness or injury.

Healing can be given for any illness, stress or injury and is completely natural, has no side effects and is complementary to any other therapy.

The benefits of healing can be felt on many levels, as well as the physical, and the effects can be profound.

Aside from its value in relieving pain and restoring function, healing is also notable for initiating improvements in patient’s attitudes, clarity of thought and their quality of life.

Reflexology

Reflexology is suitable for all ages and may bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. Some people use reflexology simply as a way of relaxing and easing stress, but it can also help people cope on many levels whether physical, mental or emotional and maintain health in all areas of their lives.

For a number of years I have been running a successful private practice as a Clinical Reflexologist. I am a member of The Association of Reflexologists, The International Institute of Reflexologists and work within the NHS and a Cancer Charity.

May I tell you more about Reflexology:

Reflexology has been traced back to Egypt, India and China. Eunice Ingham developed the current method in 1930, up to that time it was referred to as Zone Therapy. She observed that “congestion” or tension in any part of the foot is mirrored in the corresponding part of the body. Reflexology is a Holistic therapy, which means that it treats the body as whole and not just symptoms.

Reflexology helps the body regain a healthy balance and has been shown to be effective for:

  • Headaches and Migraine
  • Back pain
  • IBS
  • Fertility
  • Stress
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Sleep disorders
  • Arthritis
