Physiotherapy

Aim: To provide Quality Physiotherapy tailored to the needs of each individual.

Speciality treatment for:

  • Back and neck problems, including whiplash.
  • Joint pains, such as knee and shoulder pain etc.
  • Soft tissue injuries e.g, sprains and tennis elbow.
  • Chronic pain, including headaches and migraines.
  • Scar tissue adhesions.

The prime purpose of Physiotherapy is to restore function, activity and independence. The aim is to prevent injury or illness and provide appropriate advice, information and treatment that is individually tailored to the patient’s needs.

Following a detailed assessment and examination of your condition, diagnosis will follow together with the most effective treatment. This will take into account your lifestyle, leisure activities and general health, and will be reviewed throughout the treatment process. The therapy will include advice on self-treatment and, where appropriate, exercises that you carry out between treatment sessions.

During the past 25 years I have attended specialist courses that have included the treatment of cording/scar tissue following mastectomy, neck surgery and radiotherapy, plus the treatment of headaches, migraine and whiplash.

The Chartered Society Of Physiotherapy, circulates evidence-based guidelines to ensure that all its members throughout the country apply equally high standards in their practice. My credentials include registration with the Health Professions Council and membership of “Physiofirst” (Organisation of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice). Westfield, HSA, PPP and other insurance companies approved.
